Malakai Alpaca Stud was formed in 1993 with the purchase of two wethers. Twelve months later we acquired our first pregnant female with a female cria at foot, our herd has now grown to over 400 females.

At Malakai Alpaca Stud it has always been our aim to breed alpacas of superior quality, this prompted us to embark on our first Embryo Transfer Programme in 2005. Our very best females such as Blue Grass Leading Lady, Benleigh Flame, Ambleside Sapphire, Malakai Fire N Ice, Wyona Mystical Woman, Shanbrooke Accoyo Sensation and Shanbrooke Invincible’s Silken Lace have been used in the programme. The crias that have been born from our Embryo Transfer Programme have been outstanding, they have attracted serious breeders from around Australia and the UK.

He is from two Multiple Supreme Championship winners in Blue Grass Leading Lady and Benleigh Bellisimo both of which need no introduction.
